Job summary

OTTO Health Care invites qualified healthcare professionals to join Zonnehuisgroep Amstelland in Amstelveen. The program includes Dutch language training and onboarding support, with a view to a permanent contract after onboarding.

Salary follows CAO VVT FWG scales, starting at FWG 30 (€3,124.01) and advancing to FWG 45 (€3,557.41) after BIG registration and evaluations, plus pension and holiday allowance. Locations include Amstelveen and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (Bachelor degree) required.
• Experience in elderly care is welcome.
• Willingness to learn Dutch.
• Motivation, empathy, and a sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (washing, dressing, eating, daily living activities).
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intake (including high‑risk medications).
• Perform nursing tasks: wound care, catheter care, stoma care, injections, and other procedures.
• Observe and report changes in health and wellbeing in the Electronic Client File (ECD).
• Document provided care and observations accurately.
• Offer emotional and social support to clients.
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, therapists and caregivers.
• Promote client independence and follow care plans.
• Identify issues and escalate to nurses or physicians when needed.
