The EH&S Specialist provides support to Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs and initiatives, helping to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements across the organization. This role partners with business leaders and operational teams to support risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position focuses on maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by supporting the implementation of EH&S policies, monitoring compliance, managing documentation, and promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability, and inclusion throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support EH&S compliance activities by ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Coordinate and maintain EH&S documentation, records, reports, safety data sheets, permits, and other compliance-related materials.
- Conduct and support risk assessments related to facilities, ergonomics, biosafety, operational changes, and business projects, including implementation of mitigation measures.
- Support accident investigations, root cause analyses, risk escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen workplace safety and compliance.
- Perform audits, inspections, and GEMBA walks to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support environmental programs, waste management, hazardous material handling, employee training, and safety culture initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), safety management, environmental compliance, or a related field within a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of EH&S regulations, compliance requirements, risk assessment methodologies, and safety management practices.
- Experience supporting incident investigations, root cause analysis, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement programs.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and report safety and environmental data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, continuous learning, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Salary
The anticipated base pay range for this position is: €44.700,00 - €70.840,00
