Zusammenfassung

Talland College in Alkmaar is seeking an educational development adviser for the TIM programme design team. You will guide teaching teams, translate ambitions into concrete actions, and develop practical resources that teams can use immediately.

You work on educational design, pedagogy and learning strategies, contributing to knowledge sharing across the organisation. This is a temporary project role with flexible delivery and collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Education Science or similar field completed.
• Experience with educational development and change processes, preferably in mbo/VET.
• Ability to quickly grasp new subjects, review complex processes and distill what matters.
• Inspire teams and provide constructive feedback; take initiative and facilitate.
• Flexible approach and ability to work on a project basis.

About the job
Within Talland College, you work as an educational development adviser in the design team of programme TIM. TIM stands for a future-proof and innovative vocational education and training (mbo) sector and directs the promise ‘Our education fits’, which we all own.
Together with your colleagues, you help educational teams develop flexible and future-oriented education that aligns with students, the professional field and society.
Your remit goes wider than guiding teams. From the design team, we also ensure that knowledge and experiences from development processes are made available to the entire organisation. We develop practical resources and tools that teams can use to continue independently, and we organise knowledge sharing around educational development and flexibilisation.

You guide and advise teaching teams in the development and streamlining of education. You bring structure, ask sharp questions, help make choices, and translate ambitions into concrete actions.

You develop useful resources and tools for teaching teams. You translate educational knowledge and experiences from practice into formats, examples, and methods that teams can immediately use.

You contribute to knowledge sharing within Talland. You gather knowledge and good examples, make them accessible and share them through, for example, meetings, knowledge sessions and our digital environment.

You bring educational expertise to topics such as educational design, pedagogy, learning strategies, assessment and examinations, and link them to everyday educational practice.

You contribute to the development of the design team and the TIM program. You identify what teams need, identify organisational‑wide issues and translate them together with colleagues into concrete improvements.

You work independently and on a project basis within the framework of the program. Sometimes you take the lead, other times you coach or provide feedback.

You consciously choose the approach needed to take a team or development forward.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with educational expertise and the ability to set people and developments in motion.

You have a completed education in Education Science or a similar field of study and experience with educational development and change processes, preferably within the vocational education and training sector.

You quickly become familiar with your new subjects, review complex processes, and are able to distinguish between the important and the unimportant.

You can sense what a team needs, dare to stand up for a group, and can inspire people and provide critical feedback.

You are pragmatic and results‑oriented: you don’t get stuck in analysing and investigating, but together with others take the step towards concrete actions and results.

You take the initiative, take on the role of a facilitator when necessary, and are flexible in your approach.

You like working together, are organisation‑sensitive, and bring positive energy.

a position of 24 to 32 hours per week (by agreement) (0.6 to 0.8 FTE);

It is initially a temporary appointment (related to the project) for the 2026-2027 school year, with the possibility of an extension if the project takes longer;

We offer the position in salary scale 11 (min. €4,226, max. €6,210 for a full-time appointment). Furthermore, placement on the scale is based on knowledge, experience, and education;
