Job description

The Growth Manager is responsible for finding where Travix's next growth comes from, and for proving it out. That means identifying the opportunities worth pursuing — in value we capture from the customers, in markets we have not yet built, and in products we have only just started selling — building the case for each, and driving the ones we back through to results.

The role is the owner of the customer at Travix. It owns conversion performance across the full customer journey — not only whether the funnel converts, but how customers behave across visits and where the commercial opportunity sits — working closely with Product Analytics to turn that into insight the ecommerce team can act on. It builds and owns the customer segmentation, developed in close collaboration with CRM, so that who our customers are, what they are worth and how they differ becomes something the business actively plans against in lifecycle communication, acquisition targeting, merchandising and pricing.

Alongside this, the role owns the commercial case for expansion — into new markets, and into new products. In both cases the Growth Manager assesses where we have a right to win, defines what success looks like, and coordinates the go-to-market plan with the ecommerce, acquisition, pricing and product teams, taking each opportunity from entry to scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the customer view at Travix: define what a customer is and build the segmentation that follows, covering lifecycle, new versus returning behaviour, churn and lifetime value, in close collaboration with CRM.
  • Own conversion performance across the full customer journey, and work with Product and Data Analytics to turn it into prioritised insight the ecommerce team can act on.
  • Translate commercial targets into customer-level metrics that sit alongside existing channel and session targets, and establish how they are monitored and reported.
  • Bring the customer perspective to the acquisition channel owners, giving them a clearer view of who their traffic brings in and how those customers behave, so they can sharpen their own targeting and plans.
  • Identify and build the commercial case for growth opportunities across markets and products, with a clear recommendation to pursue or not.
  • Own the go-to-market plan for each opportunity we back, coordinating ecommerce, acquisition, pricing and product behind execution, from entry through to scale.
What you bring to the table
  • 7+ years of experience in Growth, Ecommerce, Customer Marketing, CRM, or Commercial Strategy, ideally in a consumer marketplace, travel, or high-volume ecommerce environment.
  • Proven track record of growing commercial performance through customer understanding and hands-on experience with customer segmentation
  • Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable decomposing a commercial target into its drivers, designing the metrics that track it, and working with analysts to build what you need.
  • Commercial acumen and sound judgement on growth opportunities, with the confidence to recommend against one as readily as for it.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to make a data-led case to senior leadership and to channel and product specialists alike.
  • Comfortable starting with an imperfect measurement and improving it, rather than waiting for a complete picture.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, prioritise effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced international environment.
