Job summary

Samsung SDS in the Maasvlakte region is seeking a Transport Coordinator to execute daily transport and customer service tasks for one of our key clients. You will plan inbound shipments, coordinate outbound trips, and ensure all documentation is complete.

You will monitor KPIs, collaborate with 3PL partners, and communicate updates to stakeholders. A proactive, team-oriented mindset with ERP/TMS knowledge and strong Excel skills is essential.

Qualifications

• MBO 4 or HBO in supply chain/logistics.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Customer oriented and proactive.
• Excellent Excel skills and data accuracy.
• Knowledge of ERP and TMS systems.
• Business English on professional level.

Responsibilities

• Create inbound planning aligned to order status and KPIs to receive all inbound shipments with urgency and SLA.
• Arrange outbound truck planning for daily network shipments, consolidated and ad-hoc shipments.
• Ensure required information and documentation is present for each shipment.
• Monitor KPIs and PDIs to receive proof of delivery and minimize detention, demurrage and storage costs.
• Take corrective actions with the 3PL partner when performance isn't met.
• Inform stakeholders proactively with relevant information.
• Work according to SOPs and maintain them.
• Act as contact person for 3PLs, subsidiaries, supply chain planners, security, customs and warehouse staff.
• Analyze daily carrier and internal reports to manage inbound/outbound processes and 3PLs.
• Edit and send daily order-situation reports to inform management and planners.
• Billing process and analyze all inbound/outbound shipment data for billing.
