Job summary

PHIX in the Netherlands is seeking a dedicated Purchasing & Logistics Employee to manage daily operations, ensuring materials are available on time and inventory is accurate. You will process orders, coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners, and maintain ERP data.

You will handle goods receipt, shipments, and documentation for national and international consignments, while supporting process improvements and reporting to optimise supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• MBO level education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or technical field.
• Experience with logistics processes, purchasing and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and international shipments is a plus.
• Good Dutch and English communication; proactive and structured work style.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, place, and follow up on purchase orders for materials, components and services.
• Monitor delivery times, costs, and material availability; report deviations.
• Review supplier data and order confirmations; maintain supplier contact.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform counts; identify shortages.
• Execute goods receipt, storage, distribution, and shipments; handle shipping docs.
• Support administrative handling of purchasing and logistics; ERP data updates.
