Job summary

American School of The Hague is seeking a temporary full-time Middle School Learning Support Teacher from August 1, 2026 to December 18, 2026 for the duration of a leave. Location is Wassenaar, the Netherlands with Fluent English required and a focus on inclusive education.

Qualifications

Two years of successful experience delivering academic intervention at an international Middle School level.
Certificated Learning Support/Inclusive Education background.
Training in collaboration and supporting differentiated instruction and inclusive best practices.

Responsibilities

Serve as case manager for identified students, gathering background information and maintaining files.
Summarize assessment results and inform support plans.
Collect and analyze screening and progress data to adjust interventions and report to parents and staff.
Plan, prepare and deliver small-group interventions and collaborate with teachers to implement accommodations.
Maintain ongoing professional communication with service providers on and off campus.
