The International School Twente (IST) is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Dutch to join our team, due to the departure of one of our valued colleagues. You will, together with an experienced colleague, form the Dutch subject group and will also be part of the wider Language Department at IST. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in Dutch within an international context. The position is available per January 1st, 2026.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for a colleague who is eager to teach Dutch within an international environment. You love developing curricula and you enjoy the freedom that comes with teaching Dutch in an international school where the working and learning language is English. You feel at home connecting with students, colleagues and parents from different year groups and cultural backgrounds. You are comfortable working closely together in a small and dedicated team of professionals and you are happy to join us in further developing our collective habits and efficacy. You are currently able to work within the European Union.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Teaching and guiding students
• Teaching classes in an International Baccalaureate and Cambridge IGCSE school
• Contributing to our school broadly, across subjects and departments
• Demonstrating professional conduct, strong coaching skills, intercultural understanding, and a high degree of independence
• Further developing the subject of Dutch within IST
