Job summary

InterSystems, a global data technology leader, offers a paid internship in the Netherlands for a technology‑minded student. You will work with customers, partners, and decision‑makers in the public sector to translate questions into innovative data and integration solutions.

You’ll help with demos, workshops, and proofs-of-concept while collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams. The role provides growth into a full‑time sales engineer after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing studies in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Available 16–24 hours per week.
• Interest in advising and collaborating with customers.
• Basic knowledge of, or strong interest in, APIs, databases, and integration.
• Interest in how systems work together (architecture basics).
• Professional proficiency in Dutch is essential.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Interest in/experience with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer questions into innovative data, integration, and analytics solutions.
• Help customers solve challenges with scalable architectures.
• Support presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams (sales, marketing, product development).
• Stay close to technology, with limited full-time programming.
