Job summary

Ramboll Nederland is seeking a driven consultant to lead permitting projects and EIAs, advising clients on environmental compliance and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate with regulators and colleagues across Europe on diverse projects, from offshore to renewables, and contribute to a sustainable future.

The role emphasizes Dutch language proficiency, strong consultancy experience, and independence, with opportunities for professional growth within the CST Benelux team.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Environmental Sciences, Spatial Planning, Urban Planning, Land and Water Management, Physical Geography, or similar.
• 2–5 years consultancy experience.
• Thorough understanding of permitting and environmental regulations in the Netherlands.
• High independence, initiative, and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to large-scale permitting projects and Environmental Impact Assessments.
• Liaise with clients, regulators, and other professionals on project aspects.
• Draft reports, collaborate with team members, and provide progress updates.
• Assist in preparing proposals under PM direction.
• Engage in support studies like PGS assessments, ABM evaluations, water impact assessments, and BAT assessments.
• Provide broad support to other disciplines and due diligence services; report in Dutch or English.
