Monks is seeking a Business Director to act as the executive growth driver for a premier client portfolio. You will shape long-term partnerships, unlock multi-stream opportunities, and elevate service delivery through an AI-enabled production ecosystem.

You will lead senior client relationships, develop strategic roadmaps, and drive profitable growth across multi-market programs, partnering with creative, operational, data, and finance leaders.

Qualifications

• Native-level Dutch (written and spoken) and fluent English.
• Proven executive client leadership with high-value accounts.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L experience.
• Deep operational expertise in scoping, budgeting, and delivering multi-market programs.
• Strategic mindset with an understanding of AI, technology, and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Own and expand the executive client relationship portfolio as a senior strategic advisor, aligning client growth ambitions with our full spectrum of creative, tech, and AI capabilities.
• Develop comprehensive account strategies, financial forecasts, and commercial roadmaps to secure long-term client retention and profitability.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, pitching innovative scopes and transforming requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end execution of large-scale, multi-market programs, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to high quality standards.
• Translate high-level business challenges into clear briefs and scopes of work balancing client impact with efficiency.
• Navigate and resolve high-stakes client issues with executive diplomacy, driving win-win outcomes.
• Partner with creative, operational, data, and finance leadership to streamline delivery models and incorporate emerging AI tools.
• Lead and scale a high-performing team of account leaders.
