Job summary

Arkipel is looking for a structured, independent Bookkeeper to join our Amsterdam team. You’ll keep books for Relive, JOIN, REN and Kunu, handling month-end close, invoices, VAT and subscriptions to ensure reliable numbers for the portfolio.

The role is 16 hours per week (0.4 FTE) with potential to increase to 24 hours. You’ll work mainly from our Amsterdam office, with some remote days, and you’ll collaborate closely with our financial analyst and external accountant.

Qualifications

Netherlands bookkeeping experience with Belastingdienst and BTW returns.
Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Relevant education in bookkeeping, accounting or financial administration.
Accurate with strong sense of responsibility.
Fluent Dutch (C1/C2) and strong English.
Analytical skills and experience with Excel/Google Sheets.
Experience with Exact Online is a big plus.

Responsibilities

Month-end close and daily bookkeeping for Relive, JOIN, REN and Kunu
Processing purchase invoices, sales invoices and payment flows
Checking subscription transactions from Google, Apple, Stripe and other payment channels
VAT, ICP & OSS returns
Cash and bank reconciliations, cost allocations and general ledger management
Preparing year-end work for the external accountant
Improving financial processes, systems and reporting
