Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor – Process Engineering DSP to lead the DSP Process Engineering team within the Center of Expertise. The role focuses on building and maintaining robust downstream manufacturing process capabilities to ensure safety, compliance and efficiency across product lifecycles.

Working with Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, Equipment and Automation, you will translate scientific knowledge into practical solutions that improve process performance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Process Engineering or another relevant scientific/engineering discipline with at least 9 and/or 7 years of relevant experience respectively.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing environments.
• Experience in process engineering or manufacturing sciences and support roles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people, projects or multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Understanding of GMP manufacturing and pharmaceutical quality systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the DSP Process Engineering team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Ensure strong technical ownership and process understanding across DSP manufacturing processes.
• Provide direction for routine manufacturing support, investigations, changes, and improvements.
• Offer timely technical support for deviations, trends and complex issues.
• Drive root-cause analysis for deviations and recurring issues.
• Translate data and findings into actionable recommendations for Manufacturing and leadership.
• Collaborate with MSAT, Quality, Equipment Engineering, Automation and NPI.
• Promote standardization and knowledge sharing across products and processes.
