Job summary

Paans Van Oord is seeking a Project Engineer to drive dredging and bank protection projects across the Netherlands, from tender phase to execution. You will translate complex requirements into actionable plans that keep sites safe, efficient, and on schedule.

You will collaborate with project managers, site supervisors and specialists to maintain progress, manage risks, and ensure high-quality results. The role offers development opportunities, strong teamwork, and exposure to diverse projects

Qualifications

Completion of vocational or higher professional education in Civil Engineering.
Experience as a work planner, preferably in water construction.
Good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
Strong Dutch language skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare dredging and bank protection projects from tender through execution.
Turn requirements into clear project plans that enable safe, efficient work.
Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors and specialists to keep projects on track.
Identify risks and opportunities and adjust plans as needed.
Coordinate materials, equipment, and project information to support site teams.
