Job summary

Offshore Wind Logistics B.V. in Rotterdam seeks a Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical integrity and readiness of two DP2 offshore vessels.

You will bridge design, commissioning, and operations, ensuring propulsion, power management, DP systems, and heavy offshore equipment are fully functional before deployment. With a bachelor’s or master’s in an engineering discipline and at least eight years in offshore leadership roles, you will review drawings, lead risk assessments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Naval Architecture.
• At least 8 years of experience as Technical Superintendent, Senior Marine Engineer, or Chief Engineer.
• Experience with DP2 vessels, rock handling, or dredging.
• In-depth knowledge of diesel-electric propulsion, power management, thrusters, ballast and DP systems.
• Experience with LR, DNV, ABS classification and compliance with ISM-SOLAS.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning & operational readiness: FAT, SAT, sea trials and handover to operations; validate propulsion and DP systems.
• Design approval & technical advisory: review drawings; perform risk assessments per ISM-SOLAS and classification standards.
• Operational support: assist crew with troubleshooting; RCA and maintenance planning.
• Liaison & coordination: act as technical link between COS/OSM; coordinate inspections and suppliers; report to CTO.
• SHEQ compliance: ensure adherence to safety standards; participate in inspections and incident investigations.
