Job summary

PaymentGenes, a boutique payments consultancy, is seeking an entrepreneurial Director to lead business development, strategic client leadership, and practice development within its Amsterdam practice. You will own the commercial success and delivery excellence of your portfolio, build trusted executive relationships, and shape our growth trajectory.

You will guide consulting teams on growth strategy, product strategy, market entry and payment transformation, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery

Qualifications

8+ years of consulting experience in Payments, FinTech or Financial Services.
Proven ability to originate and lead strategic consulting engagements.
Excellent commercial, relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Build trusted relationships with C-level executives across the payments ecosystem.
Own a personal business development pipeline, identify and close strategic opportunities.
Lead the complete proposal process, from initial conversations to contract signing.
Grow long-term client relationships with opportunities for continued strategic support.
Develop strategic account plans for key clients and prospects.
Represent PaymentGenes at conferences and industry events.
