Rituals in Amsterdam is undergoing a major transformation, appointing a Director of Product to shape the future operating model and product leadership across the organization. You will lead empowered teams, drive outcome‑based thinking and partner with senior leaders to turn strategy into measurable value.
This is a rare opportunity to influence enterprise‑wide change at one of Europe’s fastest‑growing brands, aligning customer journeys with business capabilities and long‑term scalability.
Shape how Rituals creates value in the future
At Rituals, we are entering one of the most important transformations in our growth journey.
Over the past years, we have invested heavily in simplifying our technology landscape, strengthening ownership and creating multidisciplinary teams that bring Business, Product, Engineering and Data closer together. These changes have helped us become more predictable, scalable and customer-focused.
Now, we are taking the next step.
We are evolving from a project-driven organisation to a truly product-oriented company. This means moving beyond temporary initiatives, requirements and delivery milestones towards long-lived products, empowered teams and measurable business outcomes. It means creating an organisation where customer journeys, business capabilities and continuous improvement determine how we work, invest and innovate.
To help lead this transformation, we are looking for a Director of Product.
As Director of Product, you will play a defining leadership role in shaping the future operating model of Rituals. Reporting to the Executive Director Tech & Data and serving as a member of the Tech & Data Management Team, you will build and lead the Product organisation while helping Rituals embrace a fundamentally different way of working.
This role goes far beyond leading Product Managers and Product Owners. You will be the driving force behind the evolution from project-based delivery towards outcome-driven product ownership across the organisation. You will work closely with senior business leaders, the Director of Engineering, Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise IT to create an environment where empowered teams are able to discover opportunities, solve meaningful problems and continuously improve the products and capabilities they own.
You will challenge existing structures, decision‑making processes and ways of working where needed, while building on the strong foundations already established. Your focus will be on creating clarity, reducing complexity and helping teams move faster by removing unnecessary dependencies, handovers and bureaucracy.
As a strategic partner to business leadership, you will help shift conversations away from "what should we build?" towards "which problems should we solve?" and "how do we create measurable value?". By strengthening product leadership, introducing outcome-based thinking and embedding continuous improvement throughout the organisation, you will help Rituals become increasingly adaptive, efficient and customer‑centred.
This is a rare opportunity to lead an enterprise‑wide transformation while building the next generation of product leadership within one of Europe's fastest‑growing and most inspiring brands.
