Job summary

Perception Point in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our warehouse fulfillment, optimize inventory flows, and ensure compliant, timely processing of inbound and outbound goods. You will coach a high-performing team and drive continuous improvement in space utilization and labor planning.

This role requires strong leadership, analytical problem solving, and the ability to enforce SOPs, meet KPI targets, and coordinate with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution management.
• Familiarity with labor compliance regarding holidays, Sundays and daily overtime regulations.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse fulfillment activities, including receiving, inventory control, order picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer and business expectations.
• Maintain compliance with local labor laws and internal policies regarding daily overtime, Sunday work, and recognized holidays.
• Develop and implement staffing schedules to support peak volumes and seasonal fluctuations, including quarter-end and year-end periods.
• Identify and execute process improvements to optimize space utilization, material flow, labor efficiency, and system usage.
• Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency and accountability in operations.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs such as pick accuracy, fulfillment rates, cycle times, and inventory accuracy.
• Enforce workplace safety, cleanliness, and environmental compliance standards.
• Train, coach, and supervise warehouse team members; foster a positive and high-performance work environment.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to align operations with overall business goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, shipment records, and operational performance metrics.
