Job summary

Henkel in Amsterdam is offering an internship in Direct Procurement Adhesive Technologies. You will support raw material procurement projects and contribute to sourcing activities and spend management.

You will help assess market trends, develop advanced market analyses, and support should-cost modeling while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-saving initiatives and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

Excellent English language skills.
Strong communication skills and confidence to reach out to internal stakeholders as well as suppliers.
Advanced user of MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of PowerBI is an advantage.
Strong analytical mindset with ability to connect broad supply market trends to raw material cost and supply.
Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Drive assigned projects related to raw material procurement and directly contribute to sourcing activities and spend management.
Contribute to category strategy by assessing market trends and identifying new opportunities.
Support the development of advanced market analyses and selected should-cost models.
Drive the implementation of high-value cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Conduct risk management assessments and implement recommended mitigation actions.
