Yona Solutions is seeking a Food Services Director to lead the dietary department in a long-term care facility. You will organize, direct, and supervise staff, ensuring compliant, high-quality dining services for residents, with focus on safety, budgets, and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Food service supervisory experience required; 2+ years in long-term care preferred.
• Certifications: ServSafe Manager, CFPP/CDM per ANFP/CBDM.
• Proven ability to motivate and supervise staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Trains workers in procedures and equipment operation and maintenance.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises dietary department functions.
• Supervises and evaluates departmental staff quality of work.
• Forecasts and plans purchases of supplies and equipment.
• Manages staffing to ensure adequate services and records.
• Conducts regular management meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Maintains cost-effective budgets and survey readiness.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and compliance with regulations.
• Reports monthly initiatives and accomplishments.
