Job summary

Neste Rotterdam is seeking an Information and Digitalization Engineer to bolster the refinery's data ecosystem. You will manage IP21 and related applications, turning data into actionable insights to drive production, maintenance, and optimization.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Process Engineers to ensure data quality and reliability, while leading lifecycle updates with AspenTech and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Min 5 years of experience with MES/IP21 in production environments.
• Knowledge of integration between DCS/PLC and information/data systems.
• Experience with industrial databases and reporting tools like PI Vision/Power BI/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IP21 and related applications at Neste Rotterdam sites.
• Develop KPI reports, dashboards, and data integrations IP21 ↔ DCS/PLC ↔ business apps.
• Ensure data quality, availability, and reliability of process information.
• Support troubleshooting via historical and real-time data analysis.
• Lead vendor (AspenTech) and internal stakeholder coordination for lifecycle updates.
• Prepare and maintain technical dataflow and interface documentation.
• Ensure compliance with data management and cybersecurity standards.
