Job summary

Mediahuis nv is seeking an experienced Digital Workplace Manager to lead our group digital workplace team (approx. 15 people) within Technology & Product Studio (TPS).

You shape workplace management and IAM strategy, ensuring secure access for employees and a great user experience across tools and apps. You’ll report to the delivery manager Infrastructure, drive IAM and M365 initiatives, and collaborate with security for secure-by-design solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a multidisciplinary team (5–10 years).
• Fluency in Dutch and excellent English communication.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical IAM and workplace solutions.
• Strong collaboration with security teams to ensure secure-by-design implementations.

Your role includes.

As a Digital Workplace Manager, you’ll be responsible for our group digital workplace team (about 15 persons), focusing on digital workplace & collaboration (DWC) as well as identity & access management (IAM). You’ll contribute to our workplace vision and ensure that all employees can work efficiently with the right access to tools and applications. In this role you will be reporting directly to the delivery manager Infrastructure.

• You define service line goals and share priorities with the teams
• You translate the strategy into actionable plans and goals
• You deliver workplace and identity as a product with security and user experience by design
• You support other teams in making the right business decisions and implement the right strategy
• You proactively think about the future of Identity & Access Management (IAM) in all our environments (cloud and on premise), with a strong focus on applying security standards and best practices
• You actively collaborate with our security team to ensure secure-by-design solutions and compliance with relevant regulations
• You act as the go-to person for other teams and business stakeholders regarding Identity & Access Management (IAM) and M365 management. You’re able to translate their needs into technical solutions and collaborate to find the right fit.
• You help drive adoption of workplace and IAM solutions through effective change management, communication and user engagement strategies.
• You enable cross team collaboration and knowledge sharing;
• You engage with key business stakeholders across departments to align priorities, manage expectations and translate business needs into technology initiatives.
• You ensure the well-being, motivation and performance of people within the service line teams.

Previous experience leading a multidisciplinary team (5–10 years) will give you a strong head start. Experience in working with an international team is a bonus.

A broad and high-level understanding of infrastructure and best practices is essential. Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, External Identities, MS 365 Services, Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication is key for this role.

Since you’ll be working in our group-wide organization, fluency in Dutch is required, you must be excellent in English.
