Job summary

Hoogwegt, the world’s largest privately owned dairy ingredient provider, seeks a Digital Workplace Specialist to own and optimize our multi-company Microsoft 365 environment, automate workflows with the Power Platform, and deploy secure Azure solutions across global operations.

You will lead the evolution of our cloud and AI-enabled workplace, work with IT operations and external partners, and ensure secure, scalable services while maintaining a pragmatic, hands-on mindset.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, IT administration, or modern workplace solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Power Platform, and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and optimize Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure for global operations.
• Lead, oversee, and maintain multi-company cloud environment with cost-effective, scalable solutions.

You will be part of the Global IT Service team located at our modern, collaborative office in Arnhem, working within an international network that spans across multiple continents.

At the intersection of smart cloud architecture and modern AI tools is where your work begins. As our Digital Workplace Specialist, you will take ownership of our multi-company infrastructure, optimizing our Microsoft 365 environment, automating workflows with the Power Platform, and deploying secure Azure solutions across our global operations.

• Architect, configure, implement, and optimize our Microsoft 365 suite, Power Platform, and Azure environment, incorporating AI-driven capabilities and smart workflows to boost global productivity across the organization.
• Lead, oversee, and maintain our multi-company cloud environment as per the requirements of the group, defining and deploying cost-effective, scalable cloud solutions that fulfill evolving business needs.
• Establish and execute day-to-day operations according to technical specifications, methodologically altering and upgrading platform services with a strict security-by-design mindset.
• Drive central strategic cloud and AI initiatives while collaborating closely with IT operations colleagues, global stakeholders, and dedicated external partners who handle local hands-on support and infrastructure monitoring in global regions.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering, IT administration, or modern workplace solutions.
• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and Azure cloud infrastructure, with an enthusiasm for integrating modern AI tools and capabilities.
• A result-driven, highly analytical, and structured problem-solving mindset.
• A self-propelling approach to work combined with a pragmatic, no-nonsense mentality.
• A University or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Dutch is highly valued.
• You are based in (or within easy commuting distance of) Arnhem, Netherlands.
