Job summary

Pluxbox in Hilversum, Netherlands, is seeking a Product Designer intern to craft intuitive, user-centered experiences that support growth. You’ll translate user needs and business goals into digital solutions, collaborating with developers, product owners and stakeholders through discovery, wireframes, prototypes and pixel-perfect interfaces.

You’ll contribute to holistic journeys, improve the online experience, and work in an international, fast-paced environment with practical learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's student in design or a related field.
• Positive, proactive, assertive, and a team player.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks.

Tasks

As a Product/Visual Designer intern, you are responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and user experiences that contribute to the growth and success of Pluxbox. You translate user needs, business goals, and technical possibilities into thoughtful digital solutions that make a real impact.

You work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to continuously improve the user experience our website. From research and concept development to wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect interfaces, you are involved throughout the entire design process.

You look beyond individual pages and features, thinking holistically about the complete user journey. How do visitors experience our platform? Where can we simplify processes? And how can we create a consistent and distinctive online experience? These are the questions you tackle every day.

Requirements

• You are a bachelor’s or master student.
• You describe yourself as positive, proactive, assertive and you are a teamplayer;
• You have strong organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deliver results;
• Motivated self-starter taking ownership with ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities;
• Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills in English.
• Problem solver with strong management skills, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with design software and editing tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Experience with web design principles and user-focused digital design
