Job summary

DHL Express zoekt een Route Courier in Nieuw-Vennep. Je levert dagelijks 50–80 pakketten bij bedrijven en particulieren, vanaf de depot en rijdt je route efficiënt en veilig.

Je werkt 4 dagen per week tussen 08:00–19:00, geen weekendwerk, met flexibiliteit en klantcontact onderweg. De functie start tijdelijk met uitzicht op vast.

Een aantrekkelijk salaris en reiskostenvergoeding worden geboden.

Qualifications

• Geldig rijbewijs B met minimaal 2 jaar ervaring.
• Inzicht in levering van 50–80 pakketten per dag.
• In staat om VOG te verkrijgen.
• Woonachtig nabij Nieuw-Vennep.
• Beschikbaar 3–4 dagen per week tussen 08:00–19:00.

Responsibilities

• Bezorging van 50–80 pakketten per dag bij bedrijven en particulieren.
• Independent laden van de wagen en logische volgorde van verzending.
• Route plannen en rijden met app-ondersteuning in de beginfase.
• Ontvangen van pakketten van klanten langs de route.
• Net houden van de bestelwagen en veilig houden.

Over de functie

As a DHL Express Route Courier, you make sure parcels are delivered to business and private customers on time and in excellent condition. You start from the depot in Nieuw-Vennep and drive your route in an efficient, safe and service-focused way. You work independently, stay organized during the day and provide professional customer contact at every stop. This is a temporary contract with prospects for the future.

Your activities consist of:

• Delivering parcels to 50 to 80 addresses per day


• Loading your delivery van independently and arranging parcels in a logical and efficient order


• Planning and driving your route with app support during the initial period


• Collecting parcels from customers and businesses along your route


• Keeping your delivery van neat, safe and ready for use

As a DHL Express Route Courier, you work 4 days per week and do not work weekends. Your working hours are between 08:00 and 19:00, giving you varied working days with plenty of independence, responsibility and customer contact.

• A gross hourly salary between €16.60 and €21.58, based on your experience.


• A temporary contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position at DHL Express.


• A flexible work schedule of 24 to 40 hours per week, with shifts between 08:00 and 19:00.


• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (starting from 5 km one-way).


• 8% holiday allowance, 6.24% individual choice budget (IKB), and 23 vacation days based on a 40-hour workweek.


• Comprehensive onboarding and support to help you succeed in your role, including route planning tools and guidance.

Functie-eisen

• Valid driver’s license B with 2+ years’ experience.


• Ability to obtain a certificate of conduct (VOG).


• Reside near Nieuw-Vennep, close to Hoofddorp.


• Available 3–4 days weekly, between 08:00–19:00.


• Comfortable delivering 50–80 parcels daily with precision.
