Job summary
Myne Circular Metals in the Netherlands seeks a Development Engineer who stays close to the process, running experiments and turning findings into improved plant setups. You will work hands-on in chemical production and mechanical recycling plants, designing and tweaking configurations to get things right.
You will own tasks, design trials, collaborate with operators and engineers, and deliver validated solutions from hypothesis to implementation.
Qualifications
- Experience with chemical or mechanical production processes and optimization.
- Understanding of materials behavior in systems (P&IDs, PFDs).
- Analytical mindset to test, pattern spotting, and translate findings into improvements in production.
- Hands-on with process equipment and pilot setups; comfortable in pilot environments.
- English communication; Dutch is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own: Work independently and prioritize tasks based on project roadmaps.
- Experiment: Design and execute trials, operate pilot systems, and analyze results to drive process improvements.
- Optimize & Build: Translate findings into improved process designs and help build and tweak them themselves.
- Collaborate: Work closely with plant operators, engineers, and external specialists.
- Deliver: See projects through from initial hypothesis to validated, integrated solution.
