Job summary

Avantor is seeking a motivated Design Engineer to join the Single-Use Designing team in Hillegom. The hybrid role allows two remote days weekly and focuses on drawings, prototypes, and engineering documentation for single-use systems in life sciences.

A 1-year contract with a competitive base salary plus benefits is offered. Responsibilities include creating approval drawings, maintaining BOMs/MOMs, and conducting tests.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a great asset.
• Experience in design engineering for life sciences/biopharma is preferred.
• Ability to develop drawings, BOMs, and MOMs in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop approval drawings and prototypes for single-use systems.
• Enter and maintain BOMs and MOMs in ERP.
• Coordinate tests (pressure, pull, etc.) and prepare validation packets for customers.
• Support production and engineering harmonization activities and vendor interactions.
