Job summary

Beiersdorf NV in Amsterdam seeks a Demand Planner for a full-time role (40 hours/week) on a limited one-year contract with potential to go permanent. You will join the Benelux Demand Planning team, collaborating with Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Marketing to improve planning quality and service levels.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• 2–3 years in commercial or demand & supply planning; FMCG experience preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to build partnerships.
• Proactive in addressing issues and improving performance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of SAP APO and strong Excel skills.
• Experience with statistical forecasting and analytics tools (Power BI, Analysis for Office, Power Query).
• AI-assisted forecasting experience is a plus.
• English fluency required; French and/or Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local S&OP process to produce high-quality planning.
• Analyze KPIs (Service Level in-Full, Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias) to identify improvements.
• Use SAP APO and ML-based baselines to build accurate demand plans.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing on promotions and launches.
• Support stock distribution and safety stock across warehouses.
• Enhance cross-functional planning and share best practices within Benelux.
• Identify new ways of working to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Be an active member of the Benelux Demand Planning team.
