Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in s-Hertogenbosch is seeking a Demand & Order Manager to own the full order and demand process, aligning customer demand with production capacity and material availability.

You will steer demand planning, translate market signals into forecasts, and collaborate with Sales, Production and Supply Chain. The role requires a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills and experience with ERP (JD Edwards) and forecasting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level HBO/WO education.
• Experience in demand planning, supply chain, operations or order management.
• Experience leading teams.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
• Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards) and forecasting tools.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and further develop the Demand & Order team.
• Responsible for forecast processing, demand planning and order management.
• Initiate and guide improvement projects within the supply chain.
• Improve processes, systems and ways of working.
• Collaborate on and guide the S&OP process with internal and external suppliers.
• Translate data and market information into clear forecasts and decision making.
• Serve as a sparring partner for management and other stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs such as service levels, delivery reliability and forecast accuracy.
