Job summary

Albert Heijn is a leading supermarket chain in the Netherlands, dedicated to making better food accessible for everyone since 1887. Our partner is currently looking for experienced delivery drivers to join their teams in multiple locations.

As a Delivery Driver , you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to customers, maintaining professionalism, and handling customer interactions effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive a bus (up to 3.5t) to deliver boxes of retail products to customers.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Fill out delivery records accurately.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness.
• Work from Monday to Saturday , with optional Sunday shifts.
• Permanent shifts available (morning or afternoon), with flexibility to adjust.

Salary & Benefits:

• Minimum 28 hours per week , with the possibility of additional hours.
• Starting salary: €16.17 gross/hour (€13.38 base salary + 8.1% ATV + 8.33% holiday allowance).

  • 0-10 km: Agency provides a bicycle .
  • 10-20 km: Use of electric bike (€100 cost deducted in 3 parts : €33 per salary).
  • 20+ km: Company transport (car, minibus, taxi – free).
• Candidates with personal accommodation must arrange their own transport.

Requirements:

• CV in English is required.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver.
• Driver’s license held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Valid VOG (criminal record from home country or the Netherlands).
• Responsible and customer-friendly attitude.
• Willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
• Availability for long-term work in the Netherlands.
• 50% extra pay for working before 6 AM and after 10 PM .
