Job summary

MSIG Europe in Rotterdam is seeking an Account Handler to provide administrative and operational support to the Manager of Delegated Authority. You will assist in managing delegated authority agreements, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with MSIG Europe and MSIG Specialty Marine.

The role includes data management, reporting on performance and compliance, and serving as a point of contact for delegated authority entities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in business, finance, administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative or support experience, preferably in underwriting or risk management.
• Strong written & oral skills in Dutch and English; Italian, Spanish, or French a plus.
• Basic understanding of delegated authority principles and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relevant software applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of delegated authority agreements and related documentation.
• Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation.
• Input and update information in relevant databases and systems; prepare reports.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements including onboarding/renewal.
• Act as a contact point for delegated authority entities; facilitate interdepartmental communication.
• Draft and distribute correspondence on delegated authority matters.
• Support special projects to improve delegated authority processes and practices.
