Vinted is seeking a Data Analyst / Decision Scientist to join the Trust & Safety’s Actioning team. You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional product team, working with product managers and engineers to run hypothesis-driven experiments and turn insights into action that shapes product and policy decisions.

You’ll build dashboards, measure outcomes, and support data-driven decision making across the domain. Fluency in English is essential; 3+ years in data analytics and experience with SQL,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics or related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving; balance rigor with business relevance.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods including A/B testing, and other inferential techniques.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities and guide decision-making with data.
• Drive product experimentation from hypothesis to analysis and interpret results.
• Analyze moderation, reporting, policy, and sanctioning flows to improve protections.
• Define, monitor, and investigate KPIs; identify issues and root causes.
• Build dashboards and self-service tools for teams to access data.
• Collaborate with fellow decision scientists to raise analytics standards across the domain.

Information About The Position

You’ll join Trust & Safety’s Actioning team, whose mission is to protect the Vinted community from harmful activities and content. The team owns critical mechanisms, including user reporting, moderation workflows, policy enforcement, and interventions against malicious users. We’re looking for a Data Analyst / Decision Scientist to join the team and help shape better product and policy decisions through data. In this role, you’ll be embedded in a cross‑functional product team, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other decision scientists to solve meaningful problems and turn insights into action. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analytical depth with real product impact. You’ll lead hypothesis‑driven experimentation, uncover opportunities, measure outcomes, and help your team make confident, data‑driven decisions.

In this position, you’ll

• Partner closely with your product team and stakeholders to identify opportunities, answer important business questions, and guide decision‑making with data.
• Drive product experimentation from hypothesis to analysis, helping the team validate ideas and understand their real impact.
• Analyse moderation, reporting, policy, and sanctioning flows to uncover insights and improve how we protect the Vinted community.
• Define, calculate, and monitor key performance indicators, spot issues early, and investigate root causes.
• Build dashboards and self‑service solutions that help teams independently access and use data.
• Work with other decision scientists to raise the bar for analytics, experimentation, and data‑driven thinking across the domain.

About You

• Have 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Decision Science, or a similar role.
• Are strong in analytical thinking and problem‑solving, and know how to balance rigor with business relevance.
• Have a solid understanding of statistical methods, including A/B testing (designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests), and other inferential techniques.
• Have hands‑on experience with SQL and Python for data analysis, or a strong willingness to learn them quickly.
• Are familiar with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, or a strong willingness to learn them quickly.
• Enjoy working in iterative environments where priorities evolve and learning quickly matters.
• Can communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Nice to have: Experience in Trust & Safety, fraud prevention, or a related area.

Salary

The annual gross salary range for this position excluding 8% holiday pay is: €67.700—€91.500 EUR
