Job summary

Dr. Martens is seeking an DC Assistant Quality Assurance Manager to join the Global Logistics team at the Rosendaal DC, focusing on quality checks, process compliance, and improving defect trends. You will work with cross-functional teams to safeguard product integrity and support consumer-first service.

In this EU distribution role, you will help implement SOPs, maintain records for audits, and drive continuous quality improvements across inbound and outbound shipments.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with AQL standard and safety/regulatory requirements.
• Background in footwear/fashion retail/e-commerce preferred.
• Strong qualitative, analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent English, written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/WMS systems.
• Detail-oriented with quick defect resolution.
• Root cause analysis and trend monitoring skills.
• Commitment to consumer-first service and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on inbound and outbound shipments to ensure compliance with DM standards.
• Maintain accurate records of checks and corrective actions for audit readiness.
• Monitor defect trends and elevate recurring issues to the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Assist in implementing quality SOPs and training within the DC.
• Collaborate with logistics and planning teams to resolve quality-related delays.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance DC quality performance.
