Job summary

Empiric seeks an experienced DB2 LUW Consultant for on-site/hybrid work in Utrecht to support ongoing database operations, performance, and maintenance. The role is an initial contract through year-end with a strong extension potential for the right candidate.

You will administer DB2 LUW environments, perform tuning, manage HADR, and assist with upgrades and migrations while collaborating with client teams. Dutch language skills are strongly preferred for this client-facing position.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience as a DB2 LUW DBA/Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 administration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HADR, backup/recovery strategies, and database security.
• Comfortable working independently in a client-facing consulting role.
• Dutch language skills strongly preferred.
