As a Data Technologies Software Architect, you develop state‑of‑the‑art data technologies software for challenging high‑tech projects.
In this role, you support our clients with user‑friendly, high‑quality, and cost‑efficient data technologies software solutions. These solutions are aimed at the analytical, semiconductor, and medical industries, within the Brainport region and beyond. Your expertise in data technologies is essential for developing and applying high‑tech solutions. You work on data processing, data optimisation, and providing insights from large volumes of information.

Responsibilities
- Preparing quotations and feasibility studies for projects in close collaboration with project managers and account managers.
- Collaborating with project managers to initiate or optimise projects, estimate lead times, identify risks, and develop corresponding mitigation strategies.
- Leading the architectural design and development of data technologies systems, ensuring they meet requirements in terms of performance, quality, security, and reliability.
- Providing technical guidance and direction to project teams.
- Supporting professional development through individual coaching, training, and supervision of colleagues during their assignments.
- Staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and developments, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation within project teams.
What you bring to the table
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics, or a related field.
- You have 10+ years of experience in technical software development, gained across various roles and diverse product environments and/or projects.
- Over the past 6–7 years, you have worked within technical domains such as Analytical, Semiconductor, or Medical.
- You have experience with or knowledge of data safety and security, edge computing, data flows, storage and retention, CI/CD pipelines, and data technologies components.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex software issues and implement effective solutions.
- You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities, parallel projects, and diverse stakeholders with potentially conflicting interests.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Valid European driver’s licence and willingness to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time.
