Job summary

The Netherlands Cancer Institute invites applications for a Data Steward to support FAIR data management across research studies. You will help ensure data are well-structured, reliable and reusable, collaborating with researchers to curate diverse data types in translational cancer research.

You will contribute to collecting, checking, and standardising data, and will help automate data flows for multiple projects within the Translational Gastrointestinal Oncology group.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in biomedical science related field.
• Experience with data management, including validation checks and generating summary statistics.
• Experience with Electronic Data Capturing systems.
• Programming skills (bash/R/python).
• Experience with creating (and using) databases (Mongo/SQL).
• Design and implementation of sustainable, standardized data workflows between different systems.

Responsibilities

• Support FAIR data management across studies.
