• We need support in building customer domain data products to enable the Data Mesh, including pipelines, data quality, modeling, access management - among others.
• This also includes stakeholder management to e.g. get product teams on board, documentation to ensure discoverability, process improvement and review of our current setup in terms of tech stack, best practices, and security.
• Data management with SQL (dbt), Python
• Creating data quality tests and dashboards using dbt, Elementary
• Assessing data quality and consulting stakeholders on improvements
• Presenting data quality and governance insights to stakeholders
• Support data engineering processes where suitable (DataOps)
• Advocating for and implementing the data mesh, including data product setup
• Close collaboration with the rest of the core team (data engineers and data stewards) as well as with software engineering and product

Requirements:

• Data management using SQL (ideally dbt experience), and data visualization tools like Looker Studio or PowerBI. Python knowledge is a plus, experience with regex is a plus.
• General analytical problem-solving skills: ability to interpret complex data sets and address data-related issues, working detail-oriented.
• Experience with data quality: writing and evaluating tests (ideally in dbt).
• Knowledge of data structures: understanding of data models, databases, and data warehousing.
• Experience with customer data like profile data and events (purchases, interactions) is a big plus.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and industry best practices.
• Experience with cloud environments, ideally GCP.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work with various stakeholders like Country Data Management Leads, Product Owners, Data Engineers and Software Engineers
• Presentation skills: Ability to present the thought-process and visualizing it through Miro, dashboards and other presentation tools.
• Constructive problem-solving skills: Ability to assess issues, and create solutions through collaboration with various stakeholders.
