Job summary

Lonza Geleen in the Netherlands seeks a Data Scientist to advance process analytics and serve as the site data administrator, working closely with stakeholders to deliver project objectives.

The role spans global collaboration with peers across the USA, Europe and Asia to develop data science capabilities and ensure data quality and continuous improvement at the Geleen facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with statistical analysis software is preferred.
• Knowledge of statistics.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Demonstrates ability to find creative solutions to issues and obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the administrator of the Global Data Mart (GDM) at the Lonza Geleen site, implementing and/or processing the data entry setup and process data analysis based on the integrated statistical software STATISTICA.
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to gather user requirements for process data track and trending.
• Leads project team meetings and is accountable for successful project execution.
• Be actively involved in maintaining high quality data collection systems and continuous improvement.
• Creates GDM/Statistical data interface with LIMS, TrackWise and PI historian, etc. (basic coding skills required).
• Responsible for generation/review/approval of validation documents for the GDM/Statistica System.

Data Scientist - Location: Geleen, Netherlands - Full Time - 5 days on Site.

Data Scientist is a member of the Manufacturing Science & Technology Process Validation (PAV) team. The role supports process data analytics (CPV) and serves as the Lonza Geleen Site Data Administrator. It works closely with stakeholders to identify user requirements, plan activities, and deliver project objectives.

The position leads and develops data science capabilities at the Geleen facility. It is part of a global network, collaborating with peers and colleagues across the USA, Europe, and Asia.

The full-time annual base pay for this position in The Netherlands is expected to range between 55,500,- EUR MIN and 77,700,- EUR MAX.Initialsalary placement within this range will bedeterminedbased on role-related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution.

What you will do:
