Zero Motorcycles, Inc. seeks an experienced Legal Counsel - Data & Technology to partner with product, engineering and digital teams on privacy, data governance and related legal matters. You will drive a privacy-by-design approach across connected motorcycles and services, while expanding ownership into adjacent areas as needed.

The role emphasizes practical, scalable privacy solutions, AI-enabled legal tools, and collaboration with global teams in a lean, evolving legal function.

Qualifications

• Privacy-by-design mindset applied to product development and governance.
• Strong ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key legal partner on data and privacy for connected products and digital services.
• Advise on DPAs, data-sharing arrangements, and data documentation.
• Build and maintain privacy and data governance foundations (records of processing, DPIAs, data subject rights).
• Advise on cybersecurity and product-data security with cross-functional partners.
• Engage with regulators and coordinate external counsel when needed.
