Job summary

NN Group is seeking a Data Platform API Engineer to design, build, and operate customer data APIs and integration services. You will work as a backend software engineer focusing on Python, Databricks, and cloud platforms to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with data engineers, platform teams, and architects, improve CI/CD, monitoring, and security, and help modernize API integrations across NN's Customer Data Platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Backend Engineer, or API Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, including writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Experience designing, building, and operating APIs and backend services.
• A solid understanding of API design principles, versioning, authentication and authorization, security, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and improve customer data APIs and integration services using Python, Databricks, and related platform services.
• Develop high-quality, production-ready software following modern engineering and API design principles.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure services are reliable and observable.
• Collaborate with data engineers, platform engineers, architects, and development teams to deliver end-to-end customer data solutions.
