Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a Senior Data Governance Implementation Lead to establish and implement Data Governance across domain teams. This hands-on role goes beyond advising to turn concepts into concrete plans, ownership models and implementation.

You will lead governance across business units, translate concepts into practical frameworks, work with stakeholders through workshops, establish data ownership, drive adoption, and embed governance into day-to-day operations.

• Senior experience in Data Governance and Data Management.
• Experience implementing Data Governance, not only advising.
• Ability to translate concepts into concrete plans.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.

I’m currently working with an organisation looking for a Senior Data Governance Implementation Lead to help establish and implement Data Governance across its domain teams.

This is a hands-on senior specialist role for someone who can go beyond advising and actually turn Data Governance concepts into concrete plans, ownership models and implementation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the implementation of Data Governance across business/domain teams
• Translate Data Governance and Data Management concepts into practical frameworks, processes and implementation plans
• Work directly with business stakeholders through workshops and engagement sessions
• Establish clear data ownership and accountability across domains and platforms
• Guide the organisation on Data Governance and help drive adoption
• Communicate complex governance concepts through strong storytelling and stakeholder engagement
• Work closely with technical and business teams to embed governance into day-to-day operations

What we’re looking for:

• Strong, senior experience in Data Governance and Data Management
• Proven experience implementing Data Governance — not just providing advisory/consulting recommendations
• Experience creating and executing concrete implementation plans
• Strong understanding of data ownership, accountability and governance frameworks
• Confident running workshops and influencing senior business stakeholders
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
