SKUU in Amsterdam is seeking a data engineer to design the data layer that powers 40,000 shops. You will craft the data model for products, sizes, prices, stock and history in Postgres, ensuring the foundation scales with growth.

You will build checks to keep data fresh and implement matching so the same item is recognized across shops, and shape the index that AI agents query to retrieve insights quickly.

The other half is making sense of it: spotting the same sneaker in dozens of shops, remembering what it cost last month and letting an AI agent find all of it in one query. You design that data layer together with the founder. It runs on Postgres and holds 21.5 million product variants today.
