Job summary
ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking an IT Engineer in the Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Transaction Monitoring domain in Amsterdam. You will strengthen in-house applications that detect AML/TF risks, ensuring reliable data flows and effective alerting.
You will collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Data and Technology teams in an Agile DevOps environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Data Engineering experience with PySpark, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory, plus strong SQL skills
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with PySpark, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with PL/SQL and relational databases.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT service management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance Transaction Monitoring platforms and data flows.
- Ensure reliability of data pipelines and alerting for financial crime detection.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Data and Technology teams.
- Support regulatory reporting and management information generation.
