Job summary

Enfint is seeking a data engineering-focused role to design scalable data pipelines for market data, ML workflows, and research-ready features. You will build robust ingestion systems, support quant research and backtesting environments, and collaborate across teams to ensure consistent data models for research and production trading.

Ideal candidates have strong C++ or Python software engineering skills, deep data modeling knowledge, and excellent SQL abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with market data, order book data, or trading systems.
• Experience supporting machine learning workflows.
• Knowledge of quantitative research and backtesting environments.
• Strong software engineering skills in C++ or Python.
• Experience building production-grade data pipelines.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, storage formats, and data lifecycle management.
• Good SQL skills and handling large datasets.
• English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable pipelines for market, trading, and research data.
• Build reliable ingestion systems for exchange feeds, execution venues, and internal sources.
• Develop data quality frameworks, monitoring, and observability tooling.
• Create standardized datasets for quantitative research, ML, and production trading.
• Optimize storage and retrieval of large-scale time series data.
• Transform raw data into research-ready features with researchers.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure consistent data models across environments.
• Improve metadata management, lineage tracking, and reproducibility of results.
• Evaluate and integrate new datasets that may provide trading edge.
