Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking three experienced Databricks BI Developers to support a major data and reporting transformation in Amsterdam. You'll work in the reporting layer of a modern Databricks environment, turning curated datasets into dashboards and reusable BI solutions for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities include building dashboards with Databricks SQL, ensuring data quality, validating results, and collaborating with analytics engineers and data teams on governance and performance.

For a large consumer-facing digital organisation, we are looking for three experienced Databricks BI Developers to support a major data and reporting transformation.

You will work within the reporting layer of a modern Databricks environment. The underlying datasets and models are developed by upstream data teams. Your focus will be on using Databricks SQL to transform this data into reliable dashboards, reports and reusable BI solutions for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and reports using Databricks SQL
• Build reusable reporting solutions within a governed self-service analytics environment
• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear BI deliverables
• Validate and reconcile dashboard results against source data and expected values
• Support dashboard QA and UAT before production releases

Required experience

• Strong professional experience with Databricks as your primary data platform
• Hands‑on experience using Databricks SQL specifically for reporting and dashboard development
• Experience working with curated or pre‑modelled datasets
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of reporting data models
• Experience building governed, reusable BI solutions instead of one‑off reports
• Proven experience with dashboard validation, data reconciliation, QA and UAT
• Knowledge of SQL and dashboard performance optimisation
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Availability to work on site in the Amsterdam area

Nice to have

• Experience within a high-volume consumer, marketplace or e-commerce environment
• Experience supporting enterprise self-service analytics
• Familiarity with data governance, access controls and standardized KPI definitions
• Experience working within large data-transformation programmes
