Job summary

Digicel Bonaire is seeking a Store Executive 1 to position Digicel as the Home of Data by educating customers on data benefits within Digicel’s network. The role aims to increase data usage to meet targets and troubleshoot data/device issues while supporting the retail team in service activations and account management.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in retail sales, strong communication, and language skills (Papiamentu/Dutch/English; Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience in retail sales
• HAVO or equivalent degree (C&C – Level 1 or GCE – A Levels)
• Telecoms or Computer Science certification is an advantage
• Language requirements: Papiamento, Dutch, English; Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Create new business from Digicel’s new customers and existing base to grow client accounts by developing relationships and identifying opportunities
• Package and present solutions to customers verbally or in writing
• Explain benefits of current and future promotions to customers/prospects
• Develop relationships to understand customer motives and respond accordingly
• Work with Team Leader and others to drive sales and retain customers
• Maintain a digital database of retail contracts (Hybrid and Postpaid)
• Assist Customer Care to troubleshoot situations
• Coordinate with Product Department for UAT and product/service queries
• Complete WOU processes after smartphone purchases and assist with queries
• Set up recommended apps on live display handsets and ensure internet access
• Escalate and follow up on network, product, promotion issues per SLA
• Stay updated on data trends and maximize data plan sales
• Complete activations for Hybrid, Prepaid and Postpaid accounts
• Provide detailed reports to Retail Manager and Head of Commercial
• Handle technical queries from CC agents and managers
• Perform any other duties as assigned
