Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH invites a graduation-level intern for a six-month energy modelling project in Veghel. You will build a data-driven predictor of system energy consumption based on operation conditions and design parameters.

This role sits in the Sustainability team and collaborates with R&D, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Data Analytics. You will collect and prepare data, identify energy drivers, develop a predictive model, and validate it against real-world data from customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master level required.
• Dutch Education System enrolment and resident of The Netherlands mandatory.
• Study areas: Electrical engineering, industrial engineering & management, applied physics, data science.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch language acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and structure datasets.
• Analyze system parameters to identify energy drivers.
• Develop a predictive energy estimation model using statistical methods.
• Validate model outputs with real-world measured data from sites.
• Deliver datasets, a validated model, and implementation recommendations.
