Job summary

Remarkable Resourcing is seeking an experienced Data Centre Technical Lead in the Netherlands, Amsterdam area, to own end-to-end rack deployments from site readiness to handover. The role combines hands-on hardware work with leadership of teams during complex deployments and critical incidents.

You will coordinate with engineers, OEMs and facilities while ensuring robust power validation and rack integrity.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data centre deployment experience.
• Strong knowledge of rack power, grounding and physical infrastructure.
• Experience with servers, storage and networking hardware.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/container infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end rack and data centre deployments.
• Own power design and validation – PDUs, power budgets, redundant paths, circuits & grounding.
• Troubleshoot racking, cabling, cooling, power and hardware issues.
• Validate installation of servers, storage and networking equipment.
• Support Linux / bare-metal hardware bring-up, firmware and diagnostics.
• Coordinate engineers, OEMs, facilities and data centre operations.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point during critical deployments.
• Develop deployment runbooks and mentor engineers.

We’re looking for an experienced Data Centre Technical Lead to take ownership of complex rack deployments — from site readiness and physical installation through to power validation, Linux bring-up and operational handover.

This is a hands‑on technical role for someone comfortable leading teams while getting directly involved when deployment issues arise.
