Job summary

Goodman is seeking an experienced Controls and Monitoring SME to lead standards for BMS and EPMS across data centre developments. You will review designs, ensure compliance with regulations and hyperscaler specs, and support tendering, commissioning, and integration activities.

You will drive robust, scalable controls infrastructure, share knowledge, and mentor teams. The role requires a hands-on engineer who can collaborate across projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years’ experience in controls and monitoring systems for mission-critical environments.
• Proficiency in BMS, EPMS, SCADA platforms and integration protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English.
• Expertise in designing and implementing building automation systems for data centres.
• Ability to lead technical reviews and resolve complex integration challenges.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain programme-wide standards for BMS and EPMS systems.
• Review consultant designs to ensure safety, compliance, and constructability.
• Support commissioning and integration phases and provide feedback for standards updates.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align controls strategies with project goals.
