Job summary

Digital Realty Trust, L.P. is seeking a Site Engineer III to sustain excellence in data center operations. You will ensure stable operation of critical assets, optimize infrastructure, and lead planning to minimize unplanned failures.

You will mentor site engineers and coordinate maintenance with subcontractors. The role requires technical education in mission critical operations and experience with electrotechnical/mechanical systems, HVAC, and security systems.

Qualifications

• Technical education / training certification in Mission Critical Operations.
• Education to a vocational level in a technical field and/or site engineering position.
• Skilled in maintenance of electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems.
• Preferably skilled in the maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems.
• Novice in maintenance of conveyor technique (elevators), and/or technical security systems (CCTV, Access Control).
• HVAC Mechanical and/or Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the stable and reliable operation of critical assets, supporting customer equipment availability.
• Optimize infrastructure efficiency and uphold agreed customer SLAs.
• Lead strategic planning and project management efforts to minimize unplanned maintenance and failures.
• Take responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the data center facility.
• Oversee maintenance and repair activities, including coordination with subcontractors.
• Manage on-call duties and incident resolution as needed.
• Document and analyze progress, issues, and outcomes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide comprehensive supervision, training, mentoring, and guidance to site engineers, fostering their professional development, and contributing to team development and recruitment efforts

Education

Technical education / training certification in Mission Critical Operations

Vocational level education in technical field or site engineering

Maintenance of electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems

Fire detection and suppression systems maintenance

Conveyor technique (elevators) and/or security systems (CCTV, Access Control)

HVAC Mechanical and/or Electrical
